Gilde takes a majority stake in ETNA Group

Lichtenvoorde − Gilde today announces the acquisition of ETNA Group together with its current shareholder Mr. Ros. ETNA is active through its subsidiaries ETNA Vending Technologies and Solid Semecs in respectively the production of coffee drink systems for the professional market and electronic manufacturing services for a/o the automotive industry.
ETNA Vending Technologies is one of the leading players in coffee vending machines distinguishing itself in product quality and innovative drive. The Company sells its machines on a global level to major coffee brands and large regional players. A continued effort and focus on improving in-cup qualityand machine efficiency will fuel further growth.
Solid Semecs is an important production outsourcing partner for large automotive suppliers as well as OEMs in strong growth markets like a/o healthcare and alternative energy sources. Growth is driven by providing its strategic clients with knowledge, service and flexibility, combined with efficient production in its Slovakian plant.
Mr. Ros, shareholder and managing director of ETNA, is very pleased with the new joining of forces between Gilde and ETNA enabling him to fully focus again on entrepreneurship and realizing growth with a strong and experienced partner. Paul Lamers, managing partner at Gilde praises the quality of the product portfolio, the strong market position and the driven management teams of the businesses. The consideration paid will not be disclosed.
