BusinessPQR Holding is an independent adviser and supplier of innovative total solutions in the field of ICT infrastructures. PQR advises on ICT configuration and technical design, but also takes care of the implementation, management and security of the ICT infrastructure. The company’s clients include the Dutch police (for whom PQR designed and installed the IT system which integrates the nation’s speed camera system), local municipalities and mid-market companies.
Development
In 1998 GEM Benelux acquired a significant minority interest in PQR in order to help it realise further growth. Since then PQR has grown into nine business units with over 100 employees. Thanks to its close co-operative relationships with its business partners like Cisco, HP, Microsoft and Oracle, the company has built up a strong market position. GEM Benelux recapitalised the business in 2005 with ABN AMRO and the company continues to perform well.
