Remko Jager studied Constructional Management at the Higher Technical College in Tilburg.

In 1986 he joined ABN AMRO where he was active in, among other things, the credit operations as business account manager.

After completing an MBA in 1991, he became Investment Manager at ABN AMRO Capital.

In 1998 he entered the employ of GEM Benelux.

Remko led the investments in: Ad van Geloven, All Crump, Axxicon, Centerpoint, Clean Mat, CurTec, Dawi Disc Services, Evers Specials, NCT Holland, Rug Advies Centrum, Socaz (De Oliebron / Kroon Oil) and Venlo Kranen.
