Clean Mat

Clean Mat is a company specialised in the sale and rental of cleaning and commercial vehicles. Clean Mat has grown in this field into one of the largest of its kind within Europe. In the Benelux Clean Mat is market leader (with a 65% share) in the rental/leasing of e.g. refuse collection vehicles, road-sweeping vehicles, sludge gulpers and various container vehicles. In the company’s specialised workshop, vehicles are prepared for rental and sale. The sold vehicles are exported worldwide.

In 2001 GEM Benelux and the management of Clean Mat carried out a management buy out to become joint owner of the company based in Oosterhout (Gelderland). The company currently has more than 300 cleaning vehicles under management. Clean Mat operates mainly in the Benelux, but is also active through agencies in other European countries. In 2004 the management acquired the shareholding of GEM Benelux.
