Grozette
Grozette was set up in 1973 by the Van Zijl family in the town of Woerden. Grozette produces a variety of both fresh and dried grated cheese. The products include cheese powders, cheese granules, cheese slivers and freshly grated cheese in various gratings. Grozette is a household name in the Netherlands and abroad for more than thirty years. In 1996 the Van Zijl family decided to sell the business to P. Bouter Kaascentrale, the company responsible for e.g. the distribution of fresh cheese for Albert Heijn, and to GEM Benelux. In the following years the company worked hard on further professionalisation in the fields of purchasing, distribution and quality management. Grozette has developed into a company that is active worldwide in more than thirty countries. In 2004 the company was sold to management and Antea Participaties.
