Rational Grootkeukentechniek sells Rational combi-steamers in the professional kitchen market. Apart from importation, the company takes care of distribution and provides maintenance services and user training. After several highly successful years in the Dutch professional kitchen market, the company recently expanded its field of activity into new market segments. Meanwhile Rational equipment can be found in hotels and restaurants, in hospitals and institutions, but also at butchers and caterers. Due to the high quality level and continuous innovations, Rational has managed to acquire a market share of more than 40%. The management purchased GEM Benelux’s shareholding in 2004.
