Somatech

Somatech is a distributor of high-grade computer aided manufacturing software (CAM technology). In addition, Somatech advises companies on CAM software. In August 1996 the management and GEM Benelux acquired the company from the founder by means of a management buy out. Together with Gilde the management further professionalised the company and set up a new location in Belgium. The profitability of Somatech was significantly enhanced. In 1998 the management team of Somatech acquired GEM Benelux' shareholding.
