Paul Lamers

Managing Partner

Paul Lamers studied Business Administration at the University of Groningen.

From 1997 he worked as partner for AlpInvest Partners where he was involved in Direct Investments. He was responsible for the buyouts of Euromate, ZVN, Vetus, ITHO, Bulk Packaging Group, FFF, Taminco, IMCD, and Sunweb Vakanties. The direct activities spun out under the name of Taros Capital in 2005.

Before joining AlpInvest he worked for KPMG Corporate Finance, where he worked on corporate M&A and financing transactions. Paul started his career at the merchant bank Kempen & Co.

In 2007 he entered the employ of GEM Benelux. Paul led the investment in ETNA Holding.
