BusinessActief Interim, founded in 1988, is one of the largest independent staffing companies in Belgium. The company has a leading position in the SME market segment and operates from de-central offices which are optimally equipped to service local demands. Over the past ten years, Actief Interim has continuously expanded its local branch network with around five opening per year and today covers most parts of Belgium. The company is headquartered in Lummen, Belgium.
Development
GEM Benelux acquired Actief Interim together with management from KBC in May 2011. KBC had to sell its PE portfolio given new EU requirements following state support for the bank. In the coming years, the company will continue to open new offices in order to gain national coverage in Belgium. In addition, potential expansion opportunities will be explored in neighboring countries.
