Thijs van Remmen joins Gilde Equity Management (GEM) Benelux

Gilde Equity Management (GEM) Benelux today announces that Thijs van Remmen has joined the firm as Investment Director. Thijs (34) has a background in private equity, investment banking and consultancy. He gained prior experience with KKR, Goldman Sachs and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. At KKR he focused on investments in the Benelux and the digital media sector. He was involved in KKR’s investment in Fotolia, responsible for the management of KKR’s investment in Van Gansewinkel and the divestment of AVR, Van Gansewinkel’s Energy from Waste division. Thijs studied Theoretical Computer Science at the University of Amsterdam, and has completed his MBA at London Business School.
